Jack Carlyle Fuller's Namesakes

Although we love the name Jack Carlyle for its own merits, when we were choosing the name we were inspired by our families and picked a name to recognize those that have come before us. The name Jack is the first name of my father, and the name Carlyle is a name that has appeared a few times in Becky's family.

More on the people in the photos after the jump...

Dancin' Jack

Dancin' Jack from The Fullers and Vimeo.

Playing with Vimeo to see if we can include video more easily...this was a goof around video we shot of Jack in the first month (not sure when). The song is the Erland Oye remix of Royksopp's "Poor Leno" with The Smiths' "There Is a Light That Never Goes Out" from this album.

Free at Last

Today I paid off my consumer debt. All of it. It feels great! And for the first time in 11 years I have no credit card debt. I'm just recording it to savor what it feels like, and to remind myself to keep working on living within my means. I don't ever want to do that again.

Just in time for daycare costs to kick in starting tomorrow...

Congratulations Annie and Darren!

My cousin Darren and his wife Annie welcomed their new son, Jacob Stephen Lawson, yesterday, August 27, at 4:02 a.m. He beat out his second cousin Jack for title of "Smallest Peanut" with a birth weight of 5 pounds, 6 ounces. Congratulations, Darren and Annie!
