Now that we've passed our 15 week appointment, we can finally let the news out. We're having a baby! Though we've had a few ultrasound sessions at the doctor's office already, our 15 week appointment was the first time that their printer worked, and we were able to take home our first pictures of the new baby.
We've made it to the 20 weeks point of the pregnancy: halfway there. The ultrasound pictures are more detailed than before, and there was more to see. When the pictures are in motion, they are much easier to interpret. We could see the chambers of the heart and structures developing in the brain. The legs are long for his age, indicating the he may be tall. He weighs 14 ounces, again big for his age. And he's a boy!
